Great lamp for the price : Ore International 5 Arm Arch Floor Lamp - Black
I was certainly excited to find this lamp on Amazon at such a great price. I found a similar lamp at a local furniture store for about $250.00 so this was half the price. I received my lamp today in the mail and I am sad to say the capability did not meet my expectations.
The lamp was poorly packaged and my lamp has small areas of paint chips, and scrapes, and the paint is cracking on the top of the unit. certainly it looks rather used. Assembly is also a pain. I recommend working over a bed and letting the unit drape over the top of your bed. Then stand on your bed when you want to put in the light bulbs because the light is so tall.
Functionally the lamp works great, there are five small bulbs but they put off a lot of light, and the dimmer is nice to have. I am going to keep the lamp and try to touch up some of the areas missing paint, mostly because I do not want to have to take it apart and ship it back to Amazon. It is a cool design, very trendy and it works well in my living room.
